(Which means no editing. Which means this is going to be first-draft-tacular and epically info-dumpy.)
But I’ve been feeling really stalled with the pre-writing for The Gears that Grind. So I decided just to jump in, get into Sally’s head, and see what she’s up to.
Sally didn’t hear the watchman until he was nearly upon her.
For the past three years, I’ve been sitting on the name kitrussell.com. Squatting my own name, if you will. Waiting to be “ready” to take it live. To have something worth posting, something worth selling. A book accepted, on the way to being published.
In about a month and a half, I’ll turn 40.
The perfect time will never come. I’ll never be “ready.”
But I could decide to take a leap of faith.
